OK so I know this is a bit old, but I was not aware until yesterday. Poly Styrene was the lead singer of the group X-Ray Spex. She passed away on April 25 at the age of 53, she passed away after a battle with cancer. She was a 70s punk pioneer and feminist. She was an inspiration to me and I am sure she was for others to. Poly Styrene will be greatly missed.
